In 1989<\/strong> he graduated cum laude at La Sapienza University of Rome with a specialization in Jungian psychology and Eastern Religions, having studied under Vipassana teacher professor Corrado Pensa of the Philosophy faculty. Since 1995<\/strong> Giovanni has worked as a painter. He has exhibited his work in group and solo exhibitions and has held art performances in Europe. Between 1994 and 2005<\/strong> he practised Zen meditation in the French Buddhist community of Plum Village, run by Zen master Thich Nath Hanh, nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Martin Luther King Jr. in 1967. Since 2005<\/strong> he has been \u201cfardado\u201d in the Dutch Santo Daime church.<\/p>\n He has published two spiritual poetry books Dall’acqua e dal fuoco (2006, Italy) and Door water en vuur (2008, The Netherlands). From 2006 to 2009<\/strong> Giovanni has been initiated into the Kambo medicine tradition by C\u00e9sar, a Brazilian curandero. He has received Kambo treatments by several Brazilian curanderos among whom Francescinho, an authentic shaman from Acre state in Brazil. From 2009-2010<\/strong> Giovanni was initiated into Iboga medicine by the \u201cWorldbridgers\u201d Steve Dyer and Sean Hamman, the latter having been initiated in the bwiti tradition in France. Since 2009 he has been providing Kambo and Iboga in various countries, including Holland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Finland, Mexico and Per\u00f9.<\/p>\n He provides Reflexology and Meridian Kambo and Iboga treatments since 2009 and since 2014<\/strong> he gives training courses of Kambo. From 1995-2017<\/strong> he has been living in Amsterdam. From 2017 till the end of 2018<\/strong> he has lived in Mexico.
